There is a particular energy in a live surgical masterclass that no recording captures. Over two days, faculty and participants shared not only technique but the small decisions — the ones rarely written down — that separate a good result from a great one.
Three themes kept returning: patient selection is most of the outcome; harvesting gently protects the graft more than any single processing step; and honest post-operative documentation is what turns a case into knowledge the whole community can use.
We left with more questions than answers, which is exactly the point. The best clinicians we know are the ones still asking them.
